Live An Extraordinary Life!

“Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us but by the attitude we bring to life.  A positive attitude can cause a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes.  It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results.” ~Anonymous

I remember years ago when I was first married and the struggles my husband and I had every winter that he was laid off from his job.  Money was tight, we lost our health insurance, and the bills seem to just pile up.  The first couple of winters were stressful as we struggled to cope with the reduction in income.

By the third year we had learned something important.  We had always managed to find a way to get through those winters.  So when the lay off came that year we were not anxious nor worried about how we would get through it.  We simply KNEW that we would and we had come to trust it.  From that point forward, we never worried about tight times again.  As a matter of fact, over the next few years, the lay offs didn’t even effect us because our whole attitude had changed which led to changes in the things we did months before the lay offs came.

The take home message here is this:  It isn’t the things that happen to us in life that determine our outcomes, it’s the way we address those things and the attitude that we have regarding them that create our outcomes. Facing your challenges with a positive attitude will help you to find a  positive solution.

Wishing you much happiness and success!
